In a sea of faceless tech companies, I'm a human running a small business. (Just like you.) The difference is, I happen to know a lot about tech 🤓

Before this, I worked in IT for big enterprises—Boeing and the United States Department of Agriculture.

My time there taught me how the "big boys" keep their worlds running (relatively) smoothly. Despite complicated department structures. Critical security needs. And 1000s of employees coming and going.

I got to use my customer service and training background there in new ways with people calling in for IT support. From machinists, to literal rocket scientists. People manning rural agriculture offices. Newbie coworkers starting out like I once did. And high-level management solving complex issues.

In other words, helping people of all different tech skills, education and experience levels, at different stations in life.

I learned a lot. Got a bunch of awards and recognition. And really enjoyed it.

Then in 2016, my wife and I decided to make a change and build our life in a different direction. One with more freedom, flexibility, and simplicity. We pared down our life, ended the office commute, and took things virtual.

Now I run a small business that brings scaled-down "big enterprise" tech practices to other small business. Helping small teams and solopreneurs build their tech stacks with an eye on freedom. Flexibility. And...simplicity.

I love helping people get control of their business tech.

Paring things down. Expanding tech skills. Getting more confident. Running things more smoothly. Avoiding missteps. Evading phishers and hackers. And cutting down on growing pains.

It's a piece so many small business owners struggle with. That gap between Do-It-Yourself (and all the blind spots and mistakes that come with it), and paying for a costly Managed Service Provider. I'm here to help bridge that gap.
